Hi there! My name is Kevin and I’m an engineer going full throttle DevOps — which makes me a Kubernetes disciple. Before you throw shade or break out the memes: k8s is a tool, a solution, and it is NOT for every case. Kubernetes is container orchestration and management — a self-healing system that constantly drives toward your desired state. Infrastructure as code keeps it reproducible, version-controlled, and sane.

I have learned an incredible amount in the last year and I started documenting here — but not as I should have. I should have been showing my work all along, like Austin Kleon’s great book. Maybe I was shy, maybe I felt silly — probably both. I think I held myself back believing I needed to know more, be more, demonstrate more before I could speak up. Sound familiar? Imposter syndrome. Weird name for it, since those of us who don’t think we know enough usually know more than most — just not enough to give ourselves credit for.

Well, that changes right now. 🙂

I’ll be posting regularly — going back to the beginning, sharing what I’ve learned, and building toward something teachable. I want it to be an intriguing education and I invite you to come along for the ride. Thanks for reading this far. Drop me a line anytime — links are on the home page.

CKAD, CKA, KCNA, and KCSA certified – CKS in progress. The cluster is running, the GitOps is flowing, and I’m just getting started. 😏 🚀
